Dr. Richie Gupta
Dr. Richie Gupta has been in clinical practice in the field of Plastic, Cosmetic and Reconstructive Surgery, since past 26 years. He is widely experienced in all aspects of Plastic Surgery. He is one of the leading surgeons in the country in the field of Sex Change Surgery and Cleft Lip and Palate Surgery. He was Director of the Smile Train Projects at Subharti Institute of Medical Sciences Meerut, and also at Sunderlal Jain Hospital. He was also a visiting Clinical Professor at Subharti. He is one of the leading surgeons in the world, in the field of female to male and male to female gender affirmation surgeries. He has a special interest in micro-vascular surgery and complex reconstructions in cases of trauma, birth defects and post cancer resections. He is an invited faculty at various Plastic Surgery, Aesthetic Surgery and Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery conferences in the country.
Dr. Richie is a member of Association of Plastic Surgeons of India (APSI), Indian Association of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (IAAPS), National Association of Burns of India (NABI), Association of Surgeons of India (ASI), Indian Medical Association and IMA DNZ, and World Professional Association for Transgender Health (WPATH) and Indian Professional Association for Transgender Health (IPATH). He is a Director in Association for Transgender Health in India (ATHI). He is also an e-member, Association of Osteosynthesis, Craniomaxillofacial Division (Switzerland) (AOCMF).
Dr. Richie has many publications in National and International Journals, to his credit. He is also a reviewer with Journals such as ‘The cleft palate-craniofacial journal’, ‘Journal of cleft lip palate and craniofacial anomalies’ and Indian Journal of Plastic Surgery.
