Transgender Healthcare

​

Majority of Transpersons cannot afford basic Healthcare. What may seem like a cosmetic treatment is actually a necessity for Transperson, the absence of these treatments increases Gender Dysphoria which is the root cause of mental ill-health perpetuating high-risk behaviour and unhealthy lifestyle among transgender people. Gender Affirming Healthcare is expensive and not accessible to the majority of the transgender population.

Money raised through donations will be used to propel following actions carried out by ATHI

​

• Supporting transgender individuals to get Gender Affirming Healthcare which is required lifelong.

• Empowerment and mainstreaming of the transgender persons through skill development.

• Awareness-raising through workshops and mass sensitisation programs.
